This place used to be really good back then. But lately it’s become a hit or miss. I placed an order today of chilaquiles... verdes, with chicken and no onion. I specifically put no onion in all caps cause I don’t like them. They still put onion andforgot the chicken. Called them to let them know and their response was: well we didn’t charge you for the chicken. If someoneis paying to have food a specific way you’d think they’d deliver like so. This place has frendly staff, kind, and they give you space to eat not always asking if everything is ok, they just do it... naturally. As for the food we had green pozolé it came with 3 delish chicken flautas and a big green platter with the fixingsto add to it 5/5 they good the extra step to provide what os needed to prep the pozole to your expectations. Torta of asada"steak" was huge i do feel that the bread was a bit much for the ratio of meat and other fillings, bread can be a bit smaller tomake for a PERFECT torta meat can be cooked a bit more and it was a tad under seasoned 3/5. Enchladas of mole 4/5 mole tastedauthentic the portion was big lots of mole on the 3 rolled cheese tortillas beans were OK rice needed more seasoning. We hadthe picaditas they were good we were disappointed because that was supposed to be the app, and got it with the main course 5/5on the picaditas. Jamica "habiscus water was fresh 5/5. First time we visit lupitas ! We order the queso fundido with chorizo and poblanos peppers uff sooooo good Great portions for 4... people's we also order the green pozole another menu star we also order their fajitas everything was fresh and the veggies werespot on great portions accompanied by hand made corn tortillas the salsas were also awesome and yes they r super spicy if u rnot Mexican lol !! ???? micheladas are also great highly recommended our rate is 4 out of 5 starts also no super loud rancherasor mariachi or country Mexican music which made it souch more enjoyable!!! We keep going back because they have a patio, they have drinks, & most of the dishes are usually good. However, service can be... slow even though their prices have gone up. Another con is that they seem to be pretty strict with their breakfast/lunch hours. Read more
