Simple grocery store/restaurant run by a lovely family, the whole place smells divine. It is a rare quiet restaurant which does... not a play a soundtrack and the guests speak in blissfully normal tones. I regretfully think of my father in law who once livedin Beirut and got hard of hearing?he would have loved this place. Plenty of real wholesome vegetarian options. The food is good and the guy is friendly, he offers free food tasting. But his service is very slow since he?s working as a... waiter and at the cash register, he also helps in the kitchen. I waited for him to take my order for over 15 minutes. Since it?salso a supermarket, it?s messy, everything is on top of each other. Some of the stuff I purchased from the supermarket wereexpired. Amazing Gem?Passed by this Restaurant unexpectedly and decided to stop. Owner is so friendly and welcoming. Food was... Delicious..This is one of those times in your life that I am so happy I decided to listen to my stomach and take a chance.Atmosphere is warm and colorful. Upon finding out it was my first time here the owner gave me 5 sample appetizers for free justto taste. He also recommended the Roasted Lamb with Rice which was out of this world. The food is so fresh and the taste is verysavory, filled with all different complex flavors that all work together. I will definitely be coming back for more. Read more
