We had my husbands surprise birthday party here and it was absolutely perfect! The guests raved about how good the food was and... how festive the restaurant looked. Fay, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and helpful and the entire night went offwithout a hitch. I didn?t have to worry about a thing! I had my daughter?s bridal shower at me and you this past weekend. I can?t say enough about how wonderful it was. The food was... excellent and also the service. The food is mediocre at best, I would skip it and go anyplace else! Overall, our experience here was very disappointing and the... food was mediocre at best. We came in as a large group and had a prior agreement on pricing and a specific menu to includebeverages(juice, soda, coffee) and dessert. We come in the day of and some of the menu items changed which was disappointing tosome of our guests as they had already determined what they wanted. The service was fine and the food was ok but definitely notworth the money. After our meal we waited for the agreed upon dessert and we were told that we were not entitled to it(theybecame incredibly rude at this point), so essentially they wanted us to pay for an overpriced breakfast. Juice was originallysupposed to be included in our menu and a few people ordered it and then received a bill in the end, because that was alsochanged to just soda and coffee. My Mom and I went here at the suggestion of a close friend who brilliantly married a chef so we always take her restaurant... recommendations and they are always really great. It's a nice big open place with fantastic food. We came at 11:30 am for brunchand were so pleased that all the breakfast options were available. We ended up getting avocado toast, which was delicious. Apleasant surprise came with our lattes - a mini biscotti cookie and a crystallized sugar stick. It was a nice touch. The men whoserved us were very pleasant, kind and efficient. The drink menu looked great but we were not getting alcohol that day so weagreed we would go back for drinks another time.
