We were in search of a Greater Portland area bakery that could make us a delicious naked cake for our wedding (as well as some... other desserts!) We were thrilled to discover Reilly's! Since we aren't local, they sent us a box in the mail with our desserts,so we still got to do our cake tasting from home. We quickly decided on a vanilla cake with traditional frosting and blueberrycompote. The cake is the best I've ever had at a wedding and our guests could not stop raving about our desserts. Amy was apleasure to work with - even taking our introduction call via Zoom! We loved getting to work with the team at Reilly's and can'twait to make our way back up to Maine to pop into the shop. The maple cream donut is a must get! Absolutely loved it! The donut was fluffy and the bottom was crispy, a beautiful contrast... to the maple cream that was light but creamy! Every mouthful was such a joy! The salted caramel donut was also delicious! It wasmore of a cakey donut which paired really well with the salted caramel cream!
