Cheap plates with lots of food. Great atmosphere with a friendly service staff. Food is served quickly, and you can see the cook... working from anywhere in the restaurant. Small, local, and straight out of the 90s. Be prepared to take home leftovers, if theytell you the portion is big, believe it. Could not possibly recommend this place more highly. Read more
Food was good and the portions are huge, next time we will just share a plate. Sad to see the food waist. French toast had... good flavor and i enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Came here Saturday 7/30/22 around 7:30am, walked in and sat down at a table, no waiting. I was surprised to see there's only... about 10-11 tables. My first time here but when I go to Big Bear I've always seen people waiting outside, lots of people. Gethere early and you don't wait. After coming here I see why people will wait for an hour to get seated. Service is great! Ourorder was taken within 5 minutes and our coffee was poured within 2 minutes of sitting. I had the biscuits and gravy withinLouisiana smoked sausage and eggs and hash browns and the portion was huge. It was amazing. All the dishes are huge. You haven'thad a pancake till you've come here.
