Fine dining prices.. not fine dining. Good service. Had the Walkers Meatloaf for $30 and it was decent but not worth the price.... Good portion size but not worth $30. Gibsons meatloaf is much better. Had the strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert for $12 a sliceand it was bad! Crust was terrible, hard and reminded me of cardboard but the filling was decent. Walmart has better pie so iwould skip it. Doubt i would go back. Tried this place 3 times and each time was less than satisfying. Read more
I did dinner as a walk in at the bar without a reservation. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. I did the... bolognese and it was superb (pasta was just borderline over al dente). Wines by the glass were decently priced. Not oftennoticed, but on my leftovers they wrote the food, restaurant, and date on the box, a sign of a quality restaurant that caresabout customers. Big wine by the bottle selection but I wasn’t up for a full bottle. Would gladly return here if I’m in thearea again. Oh, forgot to mention that they did something I hadn’t seen in years. For the most part we enjoyed our experience here. The food was good. The Buratta had some nice contrasting flavors. I'd like to... see a little less cheese and a little more of the cornbread, and warming the cheese a little more would make it perfect. Thebulgogi dish was quite good. Prior to arriving to this elegant restraint we had already been to two other restaurants. The first was closed. The second one,... Fiesta Mexicano, served us cockroaches in our chips! We were very frustrated by that point with trying to find somethingremotely edible at this point. We arrived at this restaurant with very low expectations at this point just hoping for the best.We walk in to a full diner…. Everyone is laughing and having a great time. The hostess was very kind, prompt, and informative.She had us a table under the time frame she estimated which is always a plus!! Here is what I noticed about this place: Firstand foremost: cleanliness, space to move and sit comfortably, exceptional team work. Our waitress was extremely prompt ingetting to us and we never had to ask her for refills, where our food was, or even what was in the dishes we were considering.That girl was on ????. I’ve been in customer service for 16 years; this girl deserves a raise. Staff was extremely helpfulwith one another. They were all well versed in the very classy menu. You could see cooks assembling plates and taking care topresent their dishes well…. I didn’t see a single staff member take short cuts on their duties. Everyone was practicingproper food handling and cleaning procedures! That alone is enough to keep me coming back! We can’t forget the food though!Everything was so rich and flavorful! My favorite part was my virgin Bloody Mary! I don’t even like them but decided I wantedone and I ended up loving theirs! I had the French Onion soup and it was sooooo creamy and well balanced! It paired perfectlywith my drink and left me completely stuffed full! Thank you guys so much for being the highlight of our trip here. Thingsstarted out rough with a dirty hotel room, hotel hot tub was busted, and a roachy chip sitch…. You turned the whole weekendaround for me.
