Their breakfast is a great deal and very very good. Popular with the locals. It's the quintessential friendly roadside southern... barbecue joint. The sauce doesn't hit hard to me. It isn't sweet. But it isn't Carolina. It's....Ken's. And it has grown on mesince i started stopping in ever so often. The meat quality is good and they prepare it well. You cannot order takeout from them over the phone anymore. If you call the automated system will send you a text message to... order on their website. Normally that would be ok but the website is glitched and automatically selects options such as onionsrings for an extra charge and will not allow you to unselect them. Always delicious and well worth the prices. The owner makes the lemon meringue pies fresh every day. Great breakfast in addition... to the rest of the menu, wonderful staff and always a clean environment. I could go on and on about the staff and food. 5 ?s allday every day! Read more

Don't know what happened but would go to Kens in the 70's 80's 90's been there this year and had BbQ sandwich ok but not like it... use to be decided to have ribs ... Extremely awful bad taste like they were steamed or something had a vinegar taste to themcouldn't taste hickory a wise old man one time told me if you can eat ribs without the sauce they are good ribs these well eventhe sauce on the didn't change the taste ...
