We got the shiro miso soup, the crispy rice spicy tuna, the unkai maki roll and the ramen. The food was delicious and drinks... were very refreshing and flavorful. But, our overall experience was not great because the staff just seemed very overwhelmed.Everyone was very polite and courteous, however, it all seemed disorganized. Whether it was shortage of staff or any otherissue, the overall vibe was very “confused” - the conflicting interiors and the loud music when we entered plus the brightneon green light all contributed to the perception of confusion. This place has a lovely ambiance and the people that work here are very friendly and fun. The issue is the quality of the food... and the portion sizes. The lobster tacos are so tiny they look like toys and they didn't even taste good. Two people in my groupgot the beef tacos and said they were very boring. Most rolls cost around $18 and don't have unique flavors or really muchflavor at all. I think coming here for a drink or two is probably the move. Skip the food and eat somewhere with unique andflavorful dishes. Read more

Dined at Adachi for my brother's birthday. Our server Taylor was excellent and everyone who came to our table to drop off food... was extremely pleasant. We ordered the sliders, tuna tartare, the fried chicken, steak w/ mushrooms, and a few sushi rolls. All of the food was incredible, per usual. Adachi is one of my absolute favorite spots to eat at in Metro Detroit :) Read more

Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. I think this place is a hit and miss. Friends in my party who have been here... multiple times confirmed that. We actually had to return/switch drinks, as they did not taste right. And honestly, did notbother to argue about food as it took so long to arrive. The place is nice, the ambience seems to be fun and welcoming supernice staff. Slow service though. Outdoor seating is so much fun. The food is not worth their price point. Sushi is average, appetizers are average too. Was not impressed with any of our orders. I even did not bother to take photos of the main course bythe time they arrived. Lots of other good places to dine at in Birmingham, and Adachi failed to earn my loyalty. I think thisplace need to adjust their pricing for their food quality. And definitely challenge the skills of their bartender. Read more
