From the minute you walk in the hotel you feel unwelcomed as if they are trained not to smile or show any kind of emotion. I got... my reservation almost a month in advance for 6 pm. A week prior to my reservation I called to add 2 more people to my party,they refused claiming they were fully booked. I was disappointed when we arrived to see that the place was completely empty andstayed that way for about 2 hours. The food presentation is great but the actual taste was not. Each time I?d grab a slice ofpizza my hands would turn black from how burnt the bottom was. Other than the mushroom one the others should be taken off themenu. Stay away from the potato pizza! The gnocchi was so salty to the point that you couldn?t enjoy the plate. Thankfully theyhad fries, they were great I should have ordered 12 of them. If your looking for a restaurant that makes you feel welcome andhas delicious food this isn?t the place. There are far better options in the area! Read more
Restaurant pretty empty but we couldn't pull a chair from another table to add an additional first to our table. Service was... slow, ways was friendly. I asked for salt & pepper, but it was never brought. Danish was excellent, good was very good. Limited breakfast menu. Read more

Outstanding experience at this new Birmingham hotel and restaurant gem. Madam is worth the trip, even if you are not staying at... the hotel. The breakfast pastries are excellent, especially the lavender butter and orange biscuit. The hanger steak and farmeggs was prepared very well. Steak cooked to order and eggs properly poached.
