I'm usually a bit skeptical when the other locals leave good reviews, but this place really lived up to the hype for me. There... was a minor kitchen malfunction that caused a delay, but they handled it well -- the server clearly communicated adjustedexpectations and the chef(s) went back and re-made the dish without cutting corners or rushing it. The food: They absolutelynailed the burger -- perfectly cooked, medium rare, and true to their menu listing, it was cooked from fresh, not frozen, beef.I think that's the first not-cooked-from-frozen restaurant burger I've had in Blackfoot (and don't say "try [so-and-so]...theirs is fresh." I have, and it's cooked from beef that's been frozen; I can tell). Toppings were all high-quality and fresh,and the fries were prepared in a way that you could really taste the fresh-cut potato flavor. I'm not normally a big fry-sauceguy, but theirs had a bit more acid than most, and it complemented the rest of the hamburger dish really well. My wife's pastawas really well-prepared and flavorful too. Our main dishes and side-dishes were all prepared and seasoned pretty flawlessly.I'm excited to work my way around the menu and try other options. Value: It's not the priciest restaurant in town, but it's noton the cheap side either. My take: it's worth every penny. Comparing to other American food restaurants in Blackfoot, I thinkthese guys just took the crown in my book. Food was fabulous! The appetizers were brought to our table shortly after ordering. It was hot and delicious! Steaks were cooked... prefectly, the boil was remarkable. Our server Audrey was quick, efficient and enjoyable to speak with. The Manager DJ was thebomb. She gave us the superstar tour and told us all about their plans for the restaurant. It was garbage. From the moment we walked in. The hostess Donna (sp?) was rude and put us outside on the patio. She was so... racist towards my sil and kids. She wouldn?t give us a table inside. Then she sat us at a high table when we had a toddler. Ibasically had to hold my toddler the whole. The food was not good. Everything and I mean everything was over cooked! From thefinger steak appetizer (could not even bite through it) to the sea food in the sea food boil (it was like chewing a rubber bandwhen eating the shrimp and lobster). My meal was the chicken fried steak. It was so over cooked that when I cut into it all thebreading cracked and fell off the entire streak. The steak was thought and dry.
