Winery review: the estate is very nice, large and open; the tasting process is pretty easy. In the summer it's an outdoors... standing bar right by the pizza oven. You get a choice of 3 wines for $10 - the wines were okay, typically chose the reds -between the Merlot, Gamay, and Cabernet Franc, the flavours were generally okay - nothing really stood out. Had a pretty nice visit to the patio for lunch. $22 personal pizza is quite good but in my opinion not the best in the county. ... Good friendly service but not what I'd call full table service as you have to go up to the counter to place order - andpay! This would have been four star review but point lost for having to pay upfront including tip before any service done (howon earth would one determine appropriate tip? - and 18% prompted minimum to boot). Visited the beautiful grounds of Huff Estates based on a coworker's recommendation, and it did not disappoint! These were some... of the best wines we sampled during our visit to Prince Edward County. So much so that I ended up buying 3 of the wines wesampled, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that the sampler I had was free because we purchased over $50 of product. Wealso took the time to visit the beautiful sculptures on display on the grounds. All in all a wonderful visit, we will be sure toreturn the next time we come down to Prince Edward County! Read more
My very first experience out Prince Edward County at a winery! Perfect day, time of year and atmosphere to for wine tasting.... Being the designated driver did NOT help either! We had a some thin crust pizzas made on site and we enjoyed our lunch. It wasa good stop for my 1st of many wine tasting day trips with my wife. Though not a fan of white wine, I loved their Huff GetawayRose and even offered to help my wife with the three bottles she bought to take home. Read more

This review may not be completely fair as I had limited time to enjoy the winery. But they do have a great option to stay at... their inn which was quite comfortable. The rooms are cozy and even though I had a generous mound of hair left for me coveringthe shower drain, I found the room quite good. And it?s lovely being close proximity to the vines and the winery itself. Theroom package came with a complimentary wine tasting flight and the wines were quite good. I wish I had more to say about thewinery itself. I?ve stayed here twice but both times I?ve had little time to enjoy the wine and vineyard. Read more
