I love Panera, but we had an unpleasant experience last night. First, let me say the staff was very polite. When I ordered I... was told they were out of red onions for our sandwiches. I told them that was okay. Then we had a gift card, but we were toldthey couldn't get the machine to work for gift cards. Later a gentlemen came to the window and said they couldn't sell us thekind of soup we wanted because it wasn't hot enough to sell. He apologized for the time it took him to tell us, because he wason the phone. The lady behind us, became upset, parked her car ,and walked up to the window to get her order, because she wastired of waiting. Here, I was looking for a great meal and we ended up getting an order we really didn't want, and paying foran order when we wanted to use our gift card. Read more
So it's 830 and I got food and they forgot my bread that goes with my meal, so I go back around to drive thru and the machine... says there now closed which they close at 9. So drive up to window and say I need my bread. So she goes and hands us 2.piecesof loose bread didn't even wrap.it up professionally and put it in bag like seriously. Ordered on the app and had to wait an hour for the food. At least they gave me the hour wait time when I ordered instead of... giving me an earlier time and making me wait at the store. I got there 20 minutes early and they helped 20 people at least. Myorder was for 4 people. So why did I have to wait a full hour for food??? Great food though. They need to figure out how toturn around orders from online as quickly as those in the store. Read more
