What can I say, we've been stopping here on our way back from Plainfield for years. When visiting relatives, we don't make into... the city much anymore but this place reminds me of those beef places in Chicago, Mr. Beef, Al's, Tony's, etc. In my opinion,this place is authentic and I would take this over Portillo's "Any day of the week and twice on Sunday." Great Chicago Hot Dog. Italian beef had good flavor, great bread. Could use more beef on the sandwich. Gardenia was great. ... Gyro was very tasty. Good meat (could have used more) good sauce. Finally, the Italian sausage had great flavor, but whyserve it on a hot dog bun when you have such delicious bread? One of those sausages, covered with red sauce on Italian breadwould be a real treat. It was a taste of Chicago. Well done. Read more
Great place in the middle of Bloomington. I had two hot dogs and some loaded fries. Everything to do with the food was... fantastic. Had a farmers market going on across the street. Great place to grab lunch. Read more

Great Maxwell St., Polish. Sorry guys but I came back here today November 8, 2022 and ordered another Maxwell St., Polish. It... was the worst! Tasted like a hot dog. Guy behind the counter said it was a sausage. There was nothing sausage about it. I Wouldsuggest you guys go back to the original real polish sausages. I know polish sausage and love polish sausage.
