I will say, I am truly not a generic Mexican Restaurant fan but, Viva Mas is now my go to for Mexican inspired dishes. They... offer more variety on their menu than the other generic places do. They have more seafood options (which personally I am a fanof). My family has only been here once, it was my daughter's choice for her birthday. The staff was fantastic, our waiter (Ithink his name was Miguel) was absolutely wonderful and polite. The place was clean as far as I could tell. Really goodatmosphere; not too dark, not too bright with just the right amount of volume for music. Food was quick to reach us afterordering without any sort of degradation of quality. Everything was top notch. The only thing that I think could be improved isthe cushions to the booths were kind of beat up and there was a lack of available hot sauce at the tables...but that's not muchat ALL. Tons of parking available, as well as outside dining. Beautiful place in my opinion, especially with the artwork...greatstaff...very high quality fresh food...go there and try it!!! Read more

Roomy enough for 7 to 10 people in lunch group. Great food! Not dissatisfied yet.
Food was good, service was pretty good... had to ask for sour cream, more chips and a side dish multiple times. Food came out... quickly, was hot & tasty. Ordered a pitcher of frozen passionfruit margaritas which was ok in flavor & not skimpy on thealcohol. The pitcher was a little bigger than we thought (for 2) but we managed. Viva Mas is my go to Mexican place in Bloomington. The prices are unbeatable and the food is delicious. Chips and salsa come out... immediately and they are warm. The chicken and steak fajitas are amazing. We got the double order (~$23) to share and it wasmore than enough food. It is served with rice and beans and four tortillas for each person.
