Our waitress was amazing, but food was not the best. We love Asian food, but don?t think we will be back. Tried this place for... the first time, sushi is good. I?m a pad Thai lover, and this was not it. It was only sweet and lacked flavor. Lastly, dessertwas HORRIBLE. The green tea mochi pictured is my sisters dessert, I took a bite of the mochi and the mochi part should be softand chewy but it was stale and hard! For $7 it was overpriced, Walmart mochi is better. And dessert took 30-40 mins wait. Read more
Extremely cute place, and zero wait during a time where the nearby restaurants had a 2 hour+ wait. The decorations are very nice... and create a calm atmosphere, and the servers were friendly and attentive. The food was outstandingly good. I've been to atremendous amount of Thai restaurants in many states, and their red curry was one of the best. There was a little too muchbasil, but the curry flavor was an absolute delight. Great food! The parking lot is steep, so be prepared for a workout afterwards. The menu is large and there seems to be something... for everyone. There are multiple vegetarian options, which is nice. Service was good and the food came quickly. Read more

Unique Asian-fusion place in-between Blowing Rock and Boone. Probably one of the best places around for sushi and other Asian... dishes (although competition is scarce) I had their Duck Noodle Soup and Spice Tuna Roll. The prices are pretty steep (19$ formy entree) but the food tasted good. What I liked: - Service was super fast and very friendly - Atmosphere - Variety ofdishes - Duck Noodle Soup What I didn't like: - The prices (for both entrees and sushi) are too high, but that's typical of thearea - It says they offer ramen at the top of the menu but they do not Overall, Moon is a solid restaurant with a variety ofsushi and dishes I think many will enjoy; however, the prices make it a hard sell for me. Outside of this area, I don't thinkit'd do as well, and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to people visiting from outside of town. Read more
