Wow! Absolutely floored by the quality of food and service here. We showed up an hour and half before closing and we?re seated... promptly with a party of 5. One of the best restaurants I?ve been to in a long time! We accidentally showed up underdressed and they still treated us like... family. Our waiter was so kind and thoughtful. I dined at Mulberry Street Trattoria last night. Let me start by saying that the food was fine. That said, a few things were not... fine. - Caesar salad was a very large portion of fresh lettuce with a few pieces of pecorino. Dressing was listed on the menu,but not included on the salad. - Penne a la Vodka tasted OK. I had shrimp added to the entree. At a price of $8 for 4 shrimp, Iwould ask that next time they be served without the tails. The heavy pink sauce made the tails very difficult to see and hard toremove. - We were seated next to the open kitchen allowing a clear view of the back of the house. I watched the staff for theentire 1.5 hours we were there and never saw anyone that was touching the food wearing gloves or wash their hands. Again, thefood was fine. 3 of the 4 of us thought our food tasted OK. However, due to the things listed above and the extremely slowservice, I don?t think we will be going back. Read more
