New to the area. New favorite spot! Came to the Pearl on a Wednesday night to find that it was bustling and energetic. Great... location with a great vibe. First, and most important, is the service. Our server Eric started out by over hearing that I leftmy glasses at home. Not only did he offer his but he popped the lens out while trying to clean them. It only got better. He waspleasant and friendly from the “to your health” toast after pouring our wine to the stealthy way he delivered the check soas to not interrupt our conversation to the “my pleasure” response to a thank you. Every server needs a little Eric in theirmanner! We started with the butternut squash bisque. It was tasty. A bit cool temperature wise. I love truffles but the truffleoil was a bit over powering and the squash got lost. The crispy prosciutto was crunchy/salty goodness! When we couldn’tdecide on our entrées we did the only thing you can do. Get both and share. While the crab and shrimp pasta was bright, freshand good, the chicken francaise was stunning. The butternut squash and gnocchi hash was brilliant and an excellent way to lookforward to fall. Paired with a mellow Pinot noir, the flavors were perfect. The Pearl is nothing short of a home run! Absolutely loved the food and the service at Pearl. It's located in a cool section off Old Town Bluffton and has a lot of great... ships and galleries to visit after your meal. They have ample outdoor seating as well as a beautiful dining room. Both the maincoarse and desert were amazing. We will probably be going back again thos week with a large group. Read more
