We called in an order (two tacos and a chimichanga) and was told that it would be ready in 5 minutes. So naturally, we rushed to... get there so our food wouldn?t be cold. Once there, we waited 20 minutes. I?m fine with waiting, but if we were told 5 minutesand rushed there, it was pretty frustrating to have to wait 20 more minutes. I would have rather been told 25 minutes from thestart. What was also frustrating is that we weren?t offered any compensation or even a drink while we waited. It has been sometime since we ordered from here, and while the food is good, our experience doesn?t make us want to come back anytime soon. Read more

This might be the worst dining experience ever. Have waited 25 minutes so far after ordering and nothing. Location has 5 other... customers? all waiting as well. Management is sitting at a table in dining room on laptop and not even reacting to frustrationof patrons waiting. Even pulled cashier over to talk with her about next week?s schedule, but no discussion about what ishappening with orders already paid for and ordered. Marquis offered the worst customer service experience of me and my wife's life. Price was posted on huge billboard behind him... stating " Margaritas 4 for $20". SEE PIC BELOW He charged me over $25. I asked why when the price was posted and advertised inthe store he was overcharging me. He said, "Oh, the prices must have changed." I asked him,"I'm a regular customer and ask thatyou honor the price that is advertised." He said, "I will not honor that price." What boggles the mind is that he did not careat all about us, doing the right thing nor show any type of hospitality nor customer service. Did I mention it was Fridaynight--peak dinner time--at 5:54 pm? The store was empty on Friday night dinnertime. Can you imagine what Corporate TijuanaFlats would think if they knew that their manager with no customers in his store--peak Friday night dinner--turns away the onlycustomers to come in and not honor the posted prices and try to pull off a bait and switch? There are dozens of Mexican foodtype restaurants around that offer better casual dining at great prices. Read more
