-- Update -- I mentioned my order issues from my original review to one of the staff members after paying for an in-person... order. Why did I go again, well, the food is delicious, but that online ordering experience was terrible, so I decided to go inperson. Anyway, I the staff member mentioned it to the manager on duty and she came out to discuss it with me. Long storyshort, they're going to work on fixing the online ordering issues and their phone issues. She also refused to let me pay for myorder and refunded it. So, great food, especially the duck fat fries, and a willingness to fix the problems earns them anupgrade to 5 stars. Did I mention I love the food? Thank you for making things right. -- My Original Review -- The food, whenthey get it right, is delicious. Ordering online, however, can be a nightmare, and this is why I'm choosing a 1-star reviewinstead of the 4 stars I would've given them. I ordered a no-bun burger, it came on the bun. For people who do not orderburgers without the bin, this might sound like a non-issue. The problem is that all the sauces and juices get soaked up intothe bun and stick to the bun. So, when they mess this up, you end up with a dry piece of hamburger meat. Also, when ordering alarge order of their fries for $10 and they then leave it out of the order, that's quite a loss. Last, but not least, when Itry calling them at the number posted on Google and on their website and it just keeps going unanswered by them and instead byVerizon telling me to check the number and try again, the only way I have to get them to make this right is to drive 10-15minutes back to them to tell them in person, praying they won't call me a liar and having to spend 30-45 minutes doing so. Really good food usually, but you you pay for it. I had a 50$ order for 4 burgers and a large fry. The fry order was tiny!!! I... paid 7$ for large fries but they happily have me more when I came back and showed them the small handful I was served. Oneburger was raw. They didn't give me the add on avocado or bacon I paid for... I really like the food tho but they won't pick upthe phone and answer my concerns and I don't feel like driving back a 3rd time. For two burgers with fries and a beer it was $50. The store wasn't kept up and we had to work for everything. We were about 7... minutes early for the "Happy Hour" which means we payed about $12 more than we could have if we waited about 10 minutes. Grantedthey were bison burgers so it was a bit more and everything tasted fine, I'm just not sure it was worth "dine-in" prices forsomething we did all the work for. Read more
My kids had a craving for curly fries and I wasn't feeling Jack in the Box. A friend of mine had told me about Boise Fry... Company so we decided to try it out. I ordered a small order of curly fries and two kids hamburgers for my little ones. I alsoordered a classic hamburger with the russet homestyle fries and my wife ordered a turkey patty on their Quinoa salad. It tookwell over 30 minutes to get our food. The curly fries were a clump of greasy, burnt mess. You know when a 7 year old spits outfries that it is a lost cause. My fries were tasty but very greasy. The burgers were cold like they sat on the counter for 20minutes. They had no taste as they had not been seasoned. You can not season a burger after it s been cooked. I understandnot salting their fries since they have quite a selection of flavored salts. I asked them to replace the curly fries withregular fries which they did but they were still greasy. My wife's salad was pretty sad looking and the turkey patty had notaste. I don't understand the 4.5 average rating for this location. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. I don't think I ll beback.
