On a Thursday Oct 27, 2022 at 2:30 PM the lobby dining room is closed with no option to get inside and eat or have a... coffee... This is outrageous and it appears it's a chronic symptom in the Boise area... COVID or lack of staff is no longer anexcuse... wake up people and do your jobs properly open the lobby dining room for the customers... My husband and I enjoy McDonald?s. However this location is lacking more than others. I avoid this location if it?s within an... hour of closing time because odds are they?ve blocked off the drive thru and locked the doors to the lobby. It?s happen at least4 times in the past few months. There was one night though that the entire card system was down for most fast food places, soI?ll give them a pass for that. I normally go to the Vista location. I understand that the employees want to go home asap butclosing prematurely so they can do cleanup is not the way it?s supposed to be. If you close early for other reasons likestaffing or system failure please post a sign. Most recently my husband went and picked up lunch for us. I was surprised to biteinto my burger and find that it was overloaded with pickles. It made me nauseous trying to eat that single bite because all thepickles were stacked together. My husbands burger was the same with at least double the amount of pickles than normal. I shouldnot have to open and inspect my burger before biting it. I don?t know if this was pure carelessness or an employee thinking thatsince they love pickles everyone does and purposefully overloaded our burgers. Either way usually the food is the standard youexpect from here. Just don?t be surprised if this location messes some things up from time to time. UPDATE: the time is 8:30 pmon Thursday Oct 20 2022. Overall it was clean. There was one of the staff that did a great job and was helpful. The guy that took out order was difficult... to hear and I let him know that didn't attempt to be louder at all. He seemed annoyed to have to even to have to be there. WhichI get not wanting to work there or at all but come on make an effort. I still couldn't hear him so my husband finished orderingfor us. He charged us for something we didn't want and asked him to take if off there three times. Then they messed up on mydaughter's food and had to be fixed. It was just an unpleasant experience. I rarely go to McDonald's but my daughter loves it soI agreed. This is a case in point why I am not a fan. Read more
