We tried the pork tacos ???? alot of pork and slaw which were very delicious, we also had the pineapple pulled pork sandwich... which was topped with a good serving of cole slaw, this sandwich had a lot of pork which was very moist and tasty. I upgradedmy side to the fried pickles which were very well done and had great taste. This was a lot of food done right and great buy forthe money. I?ve eaten at the location in DT SLC and thought it was pretty good Q, so I figured I?d give DT BOI a whirl. I got the Monday... lunch special, pulled pork sammy topped with a pineapple slice, cheese and slaw. I also got a side salad with ranch that waspretty tasty. Back to the sammy, the pulled pork was more like mush pork. It was flavorful, but that meat has been in a warmersteaming too long and is getting soft, like modern humans. The pineapple ring seemed like it was probably the cheapest theycould get their hands on rather than quality. Finally, that tiny splat of slaw on the sammy was almost insulting. At leastcover the sammy! The service was your usual millennial awkward interaction that leaves you rooting for the day when a robotwill take your order and bring you your food so you don?t have to interact with strange people. The place was clean and not real busy. Food was served fast but honestly it was cool..We.both got the 2 meat plates. I had juicy... brisket, ribs with potato salad, hush puppies and a the Porter beer. Food flavor was good, had it been warm I think it wouldhave been better. The sauces are all very good My friend got the chicken, pulled pork with coleslaw and hush puppies. His platewas also cool.... The only time BBQ is good when it's cold is the day after. BBQ parter and your hung over. So I won't recommendR & R unless you are ok with BBQ that's cold. Rather disappointed as this was my 1st time there. Read more
