A great, diverse menu; really good selection of beers on tap; and a good mix of cocktails. I did not look at the wine list this... time. TVs all around if you want to watch sports, very good service, and plenty of parking. Read more
We have been to Refuge at least a dozen times if not more over the last 2 years so this review is long over due. First, the... overall look and feel is very ?Neighborhood Bar meets small family restaurant?. It is a wonderful combination and location is ina very nice area off Park Center . They also have a lovely small patio in front. Second, the food is awesome and they have manyselections to satisfy both adults and children. I have never had a bad there. Third, and most important is the outstandingservice. They are a busy place on Saturday nights and still manage to provide fast and friendly service with a smile. P.s.Thank you JP for serving us last night - I had a very emotional and rough week and our time spent there last night with you asour server really lifted my spirits. Really disappointed in the service and quality of the food. The Dragon with rum was mostly water. The fish and chips were frozen... in a bag and then cooked. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. Just overall bad. The appetizers even showed up withthe dinner. Read more
Very nice place. Great food with great specials. One of my favorites in Boise. I will be back for sure. Staff is the best.
