Will never go there again! Our pancake was doughy and we asked them to remake it. They said they would. Then we found a hair in... the whipped cream. We were going to look passed it when we found a 2nd hair. Again, we had asked them to remake the French toastsince we had covered it in the hairy whipped cream. We got an eye roll and a huge sigh. So I told them never mind, we'd justcancel that. Over 10 minutes later the pancake came out and again it was not cooked all the way. The waitress never didapologize. We never got our drinks refilled either. I have never eaten out and not left a tip until now. Unfortunately the foodand service has gone downhill in the last 7 years. I had a very personal experience at this restaurant about a year ago. Albeit, I presume it was under different ownership, so... head my words as they will be directed towards her. Simply put, she is not a very nice person, hired primarily children to bebussers. I would only assume this was for cheap and willing first-job labor. I can only hope the shouting from the kitchenapparent to most customers has ceased as well as the greedy manor of V. Tipping the poor child bussers who were stressed out oftheir gourd was never an option for customers, I just trust they were not getting a servers wage! I hope that some of thecooks, not that I know any of them personally have moved onto better things in there lives, because I can assure that they werenot thrilled with where they were at during this time last year. Again, I know I am incredibly late to review this based off ofmy experiences, as they were a full Year ago, but I wanted to say this at some point anyways. This is directed at who I presumewas the previous owner, not the current one. I hope that it is being run better and that the certain previous owner is long gonefrom the establishment. Read more
Reuben with fries was delicious and service was better than great
It?s a very cozy restaurant, unfortunately the food was horrible, the quality of the food was poor, unseasoned, I saw the people... sitting next to me sending their food back and I thought they were being too picky. I was wrong, I couldn?t eat my meal, it wasthat bad. I ordered the chicken fried steak, I ate the eggs that came with it the rest wasn?t edible, not even the tater tots.The prices a quite high for the portions they offer. Our server was very nice, I believe this place has a lot of potential, buttheir cooks need to be retrained, they need to look into their recipes and buy quality ingredients or I don?t see them stayingin business for long.
