My husband and I love to have date nights here! We love the design, the layout, the overall atmosphere of Western Proper. We... recently went for the dueling pianos night, which was so fun and everyone was having a good time! The spicy tuna on the crispyrice was amazing! We love Western Proper, great place to meet family and friends. Great food and service, the drinks did come out slow, but not an... issue for us. Great bloody Mary.... Not too much tomato juice, great flavor, rimmed with black pepper and plenty of olives,cheese, bacon, carrots, celery, banana pepper and lots more. All of the drinks were great!! Had a great family date night with girlfriend and my sister and her husband and son. Food was good and decent pricing. Would be... a fun regular date night with food drinks and games. The mini bowling was a kick in the pants. Also a lot of general couchseating for hanging out and just having drinks and chatting with out the dim noisy bar feel. Read more
We absolutely loved Western Proper! We went for my Husband's Birthday and food and service was excellent. Cauliflower bites,... wings, and fried pickles were delicious appetizers! Sandwiches, Pizza, Salad and Soup was delicious too! I am looking forwardto trying their Salmon next time! The bowling experience was super fun too. They have a small ball you throw at the pins. Unlike what many reviews said, I actually really enjoyed the concept of this place. They tried to do many things at once and I... think they succeeded. The interior is a classy place, but they also have games and indoor bowling. There’s a sports bar aswell. This is the kind of place that most people should be able to enjoy. The food options are extensive. We went for brunch. Ihad the brisket benedict, and others tried the breakfast pizza among other items. My benedict was good and I was told otheritems were as well. They have a variety of cocktails and beers. I thought the cocktails were overpriced for brunch, so I wentwith a beer. In fact, prices in general seemed a bit high. Service was okay. It was fairly slow and the server didn’t seem towant to be there. I would probably rate this below 4.5/5, but I think this place deserves more credit than it’s been given soI’ll bring up the average.
