Very nice Indian restaurant and friendly staff. My family tried both veg and non vegetarian options. I can say taste of the food... was great only issue with breads/Naan they have served the breads almost 10 mins after providing gravies/curry. Ambience wasaverage but resturant was crowded . We paid around $120 for table of 4. Plenty of free parking for cars. Read more
We were in boone and were searching for indian food. Found this restaurant very close to blowing rock and went to give it a try... but too bad the dining was closed. They said due to staff shortage. I did see couple tables where people were eating so Icouldn?t understand. Anyways we ordered the food and left. The food was very good. If you are intrigued or just plain love Indian food then MINT Is a must try destination if you're living or passing through... Boone, NC. This is a family owned Indian restaurant that pride themselves on customer service. I can't say enough about theexquisite variety of Indian food. Aman, who is also the manager waited on our table and he was extremely helpful in guiding usto some of the most delicious Popular dishes. We started off with an appetizer of color flour nuggets cooked in a spicysauce... And then my daughter had Tandoori chicken and I had Lamb kabobs. The photos don't do this amazing meal any Justice. Mint is easily the best restaurant in Boone. I?ve been here many times but feel compelled to write a review because I?ve never... had a bad experience here. My fiancé and I had lunch recently to celebrate our engagement. The food, drinks and service wereoutstanding. We were actually surprised the bill wasn?t higher. This place is the best! Definitely my favorite restaurant in Boone. However tonight they out did themselves. We had our dance... group Christmas dinner there and the service was great and food was fast and fresh! I have never had a group that large (14People) not have a long wait for food.
