I was not impressed. Our waitress was vacuuming next to us while we were eating. I ask if the guacamole and sour cream were on... the side. That usually meana they are on a seperate plate . One end had guacamole all over it the other end had sour cream.Scrape off what u could. The food was Blah. I understand making food strech but mixed vegetables in the rice is pushing it. If Iwould have know I would have just got beans. It would be a long long time before I try it again. This place WAS our goto place for Mexican food while in Shreveport Bossier City. Unfortunately, this is not the case any longer.... We will probably seek out a new place next time we are there. Service was OK. We asked for salted rims on our margaritas andthen they served them in styrofoam cups. No salt, no lime. When we inquired about the cups, they said "oh, it is happy hour" andsaid they could get us a regular glass, but never did. Ordered queso, which was the best part of the meal. Ordered dinner, andmore than halfway through the queso, the server came back and said they didn't have one of the items that we wanted. So we gotthe fajitas instead, which were pretty good. So, I've been here to eat MANY TIMES! GOOD food, usually good service. The website and the door sign says 11pm on weekends. ... Tonight, (FRIDAY nite), I stopped in at 1030pm to grab a quick plate of enchiladas. They turned me away because it was toolate. If you advertise your closing time to be 11pm, and turn away customers, but in the same breath complain how slow it is. SHAME on you Nickys. Fine, I'll drive down the road and gladly give my money to a chain restaurant that will happily accept mybusiness! I try to shop and dine locally as much I can, but when you turn me away at the door, I lose respect for yourbusiness. I'll also give credit where it's due, and rate you a 2 star on Google reviews.
