I ordered raman mild heat with chicken what i got was a large bowl with noodles sitting in what tasted like straight water no... flavor! And the chicken was bland it looked like canned chicken. I had to throw all kind of stuff in it just to make it tastelike something more than water. I could have saved my $13 and ate some instant noodles at home at least it woulda had flavor.Very upset due to this being in my neighborhood and i love sushi. What a waste! Read more

We are giving 2?? for the following reasons: 1 - the atmosphere was pleasant and clean; 2 - the server was nice. That... concludes the positives, on to the rest. Spicy Bowl aka Sushi Bowl is very unjustifiably over-priced. We, party of 2, orderedSashimi Regular (comes with 1 soup and 1 salad; it was not served with so we had to ask for it and the wasabi served was a merepinch, the price for this small platter was same price as other local sushi restaurants charge for their larger Deluxe Sashimi),Bulgogi Udon (noodles with a dab of meat on top, $17.00), Hibachi Chicken (menu says it comes with soup and salad, but that wasnot served to us, like with hibachi meals everywhere, it comes with vegetables, but this had very little veggies as the meal wasmostly white rice, the chicken was so dry I had to chew extra extra extra, I soaked it with soy and yum yum sauce to get it wetenough to go down bc I was hungry, while all other local sushi restaurants offer white, brown, or fried rice, Sushi Bowlcharges for brown or fried rice for their Hibachi meals. Summary: If you are a connoisseur of sushi cuisine like we are, thenyou?ve likely had fantastic experiences in cities like Baton Rouge, Dallas, Nashville, L.A., etc., but since we reside here inSBC, we compromise our standards whilst paying same prices as the aforementioned cities. Unfortunately, Sushi Bowl was moreexpensive than all other local sushi joints, but for far lesser quality and quantity. disappointment. Next. Read more

I dont mind the place. My husband gets sushi and really enjoys it. I usually get something from the grill and its just meh for... the price. Its pretty pricey for lunch, but i wont rule it out as a quick place to grab a bite outside of the base. Read more
