Wow! Just WOW! I had the manicotti, which is entirely homemade, and husband had the short ribs. Both were the best we'd ever... had of that dish. The service was incredible, Enrica was our server and she was knowledgeable about the menu and very charming. We will definitely be back. Oh and don't be fooled, an Italian restaurant can most definitely make an awesome margarita. Read more

The pasta is good, but not for the price that they charge. We ordered their 2 best pasta dishes/most expensive and they are very... small and do not taste great. Instead of going here go to Il Panino which is from the same group and it is totally worth it.More reviews in Instagram @pa.babear Read more

Mind blowingly bad experience. My wife and I were celebrating a good week and thought we should treat ourselves and found this... place online. Once we were seated, it took 10 minutes to be greeted by a server. No problem, busy Friday nights mean we allhave to wait for water. Once the server was able to take our drink order, he informed us they cannot make martinis because theonly alcohol they serve is flavored citrus and that we must order pre-designed drinks. So I ordered a “margarita”. Afterwaiting 15 minutes to get the “margarita I tasted nothing but sugar water. Zero alcohol content. We orders oysters which weresloppily served at an angle that allowed for all oyster juice to drain into the small ice tray they were served on. I asked forhot sauce and cracked pepper and the server looked like he had never heard of these things. Once those things arrived 15 minuteslater, the oysters with which those things were going to accompany had already been eaten. Entrees: I was served coldmanicotti with tomato sauce that had zero seasoning, not even salt.and my wife was served cold and sticky fettuccini. When Ibrought this up my dish was taken from me and returned without being heated. Buyer beware. The food and drink quality here ispathetic. Read more

Great food and great service! This resturant is part of Mare and Assaggio and you can not go wrong coming here for dinner.... Outside seating area available. Cozy small bar inside… great cocktails (good espresso martini and spritz). Food was deliciousand first time in Boston I found the Orata fish (Mediterranean fish) … very good! Risotto with fish was special of the nite… good portion and tasty. Read more

The whole concept of Aqua Pazza was very similar to that of Mare Oyster Bar which is only a block away. Since they are operated... under the same ownership, this was expected, so we decided to go for dishes that seemed more unique. We started off with a dozenoysters and salmon crudo which were all fantastic. Oysters were on par with what you would get at other North End restaurants, and I also enjoyed the touch of scallions on the crudo. For the entrées, we had the aqua pazza, orata, and the lobster pillows. As expected from a contemporary Italian restaurant, seasoning was kept to a minimum, and ingredients on the side only existed tohighlight the flavors of the seafood in its respective dish. Aqua pazza was similar to cioppino but without the tomatoes. Thewhite fish in it had an extremely buttery texture, but the dish overall wasn’t too interesting. On the other hand, thecombination of grapefruit, artichoke, and the orata was particularly memorable. The only disappointment was that they kept allthe windows open during a hot day with high pollen levels. For people who are allergic to pollens, this may be one of the worstplace to dine in during the spring. The inside temperature also ended up being higher than the outside due to the heat from thekitchen. Otherwise, it was a great experience overall, and I would recommend checking them out. Read more
