I've been begging my significant other to take me here for months and he finally agreed. He said last time he went there was a... dead fly in the water pitcher. On first impression, the decor was cute, but the place is awfully small and crowded. I gotanxiety being there. We ordered the Oreo milkshake, it was a total scam! We had like 2 sips of it and it was gone. Way toosmall for $9. But we saw another table get a bigger glass for the milkshake, so ask for the regular glass if you're getting amilkshake. The fancy glasses are not it! The pancakes looked nice on presentation, but they tasted burnt. And the tray it wasserved on was way too impractical to eat with. I enjoyed the chicken shawarma sandwich, but the side pickles came on a smalllittle salt dish, so you barely got 3 pickles. Not to mention the small little water glasses they give you! I had wanted to come here for awhile, and I finally came. Luckily, the wait was not long when we got here last weekend around... 9:15am. The waiter was attentive, and knew anything we asked him. The place was packed when we got there, but surprisingly, thefood came out fairly quickly. All of the food we ordered were delicious especially the fries, and the shashuka. What can I say about this place? Cafe Landwer is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Great staff and hosts. The... food is always delicious. The service is always fast, even on the weekends and the place is always clean. I’ve tried CafeLandwer for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I was never disappointed! Must have for breakfast: Pancakes, waffles or theMediterranean Omelet. Lunch/ Dinner: I recommend the pesto pasta, the burgers were also great and the Chicken Schnitzel.
