August 2022: Stopped by for a drip coffee ? and an oatmeal. The oatmeal is a third party and not their own. Coffee was really... good. It's been over 10+ years since I've had their coffee in Chicago. Definitely before they got bought out by Peet'sCoffee. I'm glad they still select excellent coffee beans and take pride in roasting their beans. Oatmeal was less enjoyable.Probably wouldn't get that again and would try one of their baked goods! Read more

A lot of care is taken by the baristas to prepare beautiful looking espresso drinks. Intelligentsia coffee beans have a... distinct, more acidic/bitter flavor (in my opinion) that I enjoy in a cortado. The barista is consistent though and if you can handle it, I do recommendcoming by.
