Love the food here but the waitress needs to work on being nice to people. I introduced a lot of my friends there and visit two... or three times a week. However, she ask me to wait in rain for half hour because I?m with my dog. Both of us have to changesince the rain is so big and we are wet head to bottom. Never visiting again. Read more
$7.50 chicken satay came with only 3 small skewers and sickly sweet peanut sauce. The pale pad thai pictured below was way too... fishy for my taste (I guess it is authentic though) and more importantly came with a borderline sour, vinegary smell that wasn'tappetizing at all. The whole dish looked like it spent less than 30 seconds being heated up with frozen meat and then crammedinto the container. I didn't eat more than a bite of this. The food came in a plastic bag when basically every restaurant hasmoved to paper bags, and the staff was aloof while I was picking up the order. The only good thing is that the food came outquickly despite them being busy, but I'd rather they spent more time working on making a good meal. Read more
The best Thai food in Boston, there are a number of other good if not great places but Rod Dee should be on your destination... list for Thai food. List of must orders are indonesian fried also known nasi goreng except that they throw on a fried chickencutlet on top of the rice plate! Spicy fried squid app and the pad see ew (recommend beef). So disappointed. After I placed the order in the store, it takes half an hour for them to prepare my foods. Interestingly, there... are 5 guys after me but they take the food after 5 or 10 minutes. One of my all time favorite Thai spots in Massachusetts. This was my absolute favorite in college and I still love coming in for... a quick bite to eat knowing my cravings will be satisfied. I got their crab rangoon and drunken noodles. The crab rangoon arealways perfectly deep fried with a super crunchy exterior and creamy crab interior filling. The sweet and slightly sour saucepaired perfectly with every bite. So easy to have a platter of these! Their drunken noodles hit the spot EVERY time. A perfectflavor combo of salty, spicy and sweet. Salty from the soy sauce. Spicy from the chili oil. And sweet from the delicious juicesfrom the veggies stir fried in. The rice noodles had such a perfect bite (think of the ultimate Al dente pasta) and thewideners/thickness of the noodles is a game changer! The more surface area the more flavor and sauce it was able to absorb andhold for every delicious bite! Yummmm! Rod Dee hits the spot every time, highly recommend if you haven?t been!
