I had an eel teriyaki and a coconut boba. The eel tasted too strong with the sauces and the rice helped balance it out plus the... broccoli but they didn't give out iced waters in the beginning, so I was just relying on mostly the rice to adjust to the eelwhich was really good but in another perspective, they didn't completely remove all the bones and scales cause I still had somein my mouth, and ultimately just ate through it. The coconut boba was unique. I was expecting much more of a ice creamy coconutmilk drink but it was more like every smooth coconut juice that was very nutty. The boba was pretty plain as well and also, expected it to be at least a bit sweetened but unfortunately, it was not that. The space was really nice to dine in butdefinitely needs to be cleaned more, specifically the dark brown tables than the glossy light brown ones. One of the tables wasalso pretty wobbly as well. The head staff I think was very friendly and caring. He was able to make us feel welcome andaccommodate to our needs well and new who ordered what specifically. Definitely would go again for him at least but ordersomething else and try to get seats at the better tables. Read more

I just popped in cause it was open and happy I gave it a shot. The food was made on the spot I don?t think I waited longer than... 4 minutes for each plate. The shrimp shumai was so fresh and not fried or too breaded. The lunch sushi deal came with soup and 2rolls for $11! Also fried the avocado salad which was njce and light. 5/5 and the workers were all pleasant and happy to serve. Will definitely visit once I?m back in Boston Read more

Samurai Express is special for me because of the great hospitality I received from the business owner himself Mr. Andy. Back in... 2017, the first time I entered the restaurant looking for some vegetarian options. I had sore throat that day & the businessowner Mr. Andy suggested me to have a soup that would make my soar throat feel better. Upon my request he agreed to make me avegetarian soup but, he made it in such a special way with ginger & garlic and that soup really made me feel much better! ThankYou Mr. Andy for great hospitality! Read more

Went here for my lunch break and ended up waiting over 20 minutes for a single sushi roll and miso soup that I never got. When I... arrived there was one person sitting at a table that had already finished their meal so I was expecting to get my food prettyquickly. After I ordered about 20 customers came in to sit, most of them receiving their food in minutes including multiplepeople having miso soup and sushi rolls brought to them, including a table of 7 all receiving their food. After waiting 15minutes I attempted to get the server's attention but she pretty much ignored me so I went up to the counter to ask when my foodwould be coming. She rudely responded "I know your order, I'll bring it to you when it's ready" and then walked off to takeother tables the same soup I had ordered. After waiting another 10 minutes and watching even more people come in and be servedfood I asked for a refund since I had no more time left to wait. The manager tried to argue with me that "Well other peopleordered different food so they got theirs first." When I pointed out that I ordered a miso soup and at least 5 tables hadarrived after me and already received theirs along with sushi rolls he responded with "so you'll pay for the ginger ale then?"Never once apologized for wasting my time. Definitely will never go back here when there's multiple sushi places nearby thatdeliver faster than the time I spent waiting there. Read more
