This place is absolutely beautiful with a nice, comfortable setting. The atmosphere is great. Probably the best I've been in in... a while, The food was delicious too. I couldn't spend a long time so I didn't get to finish my food but what I had was amazing.I picked off of other people's plates I was with to try a little of everything and everything I sampled was delicious. Theservers and waiters were a little busy and we're doing what they could with what they had but still a great time Read more

A restaurant in a 5 star luxury hotel in Boston called "Scampo". That means Norway lobster (Nephrops norvegicus) or Norway... lobster. I think "Surimi" fits better. To the facts. Friendly welcome. A seat at the bar with an open view of the staff in chefsuits. A sparkling water. Fried calamari for starters. And the pizza with scampi. Total: $60. For what am I wondering. Forfrozen rubber rings. For a pizza that's drowning in oil. That tastes like cake and not like pizza dough. Everything is here fromthe discounter. Therefore also discounter quality. And that should cost a maximum of 35 US dollars. Also, the pizza had black, burned spots. Not healthy at all! Nothing nice to talk about here. The quality and taste here is extremely poor and cheap. Andof course an employee comes, puts his finger in the ice cream and in his mouth. That means it happens more often and you don'teven think about it. That's why "Surimi" fits better as a restaurant name! Read more

Amazing! We met Chef Simon. He was so gracious and chatted about his fall menu debuting within a week. Love his food and all the... fun creations! I splurge for dinner the night before my Chemo. Thank you Scampo, this is the best “escape” prior totreatments. Also love the mozzerella bar. A special delicious happiness. ?? Read more

If you go to Boston this is a must go place! Nestled inside the liberty Hotel, this place is amazing. They have done an... outstanding job preserving just enough of the previous prison atmosphere to make it very quaint but still upscale. The hotel isnice and there are a few little bars such as “alibi“ and “clink” if you need somewhere to have a drink while you wait onyour dinner reservation. We are gluten-free so we were thrilled that the restaurant was able to offer a gluten-free pasta for usto enjoy with our favorite sauce. this place is so unique- - must go! Read more

Since Covid, all of my favorite restaurants have significantly decreased in quality. It's been really difficult to find a... restaurant in the Boston area that blew me and my family away with flavorful menu options, quantity, and ambiance. Last night,Scampo did just that. It was the perfect place for us to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We sat outside and it was clean, charming, and well spaced out. Our waiter was helpful in recommending what to order (unfortunately, I do not remember his name). The Haddock special was a favorite among our party and we'd definitely go back to eat just that. I had the "chicken anddumplings" which was a creative twist on a classic meal. I will definitely be returning to try the pastas and the handmaderavioli as I was drooling when watching the waiters bring other tables their pasta. This is definitely a new favorite that Iwill be recommending to everyone and I hope that they keep up their great work. Thank you for making a special night even morespecial Read more
