More a tourist and college place…. Very noisy inside (I moved outside for dinner … you can’t even talk). Basic service and... average low quality. Cocktails look great but the taste is not …. Very alcoholic…. Not much flavor… food is ok but wayoverpriced for the actual quality. Bottom line … not recommend for dinner but eventually just for drinks if you you havemoney to waste. Read more
This is the tiki bar of my dreams! Went here with a friend and enjoyed some cocktails at the bar. I would definitely recommend... the Sharkbait. Get it in the pineapple and share with a friend, you won’t regret it. Our bartender was attentive and made ourdrinks artfully. I mean, look at this beauty. This restaurant is high on spirits! I loved their menu and a different vibe they created. It's all about feeling young and... energetic while in here. My suggestion would be though to make sure that your music system's treble is not too high. Sometimespeople tend to block ways to pass through by seating randomly, that can be avoided too. I went to Tiki Rock on Broad Street in Boston on Tuesday, March 15 2022. I had passed the place as I was exploring that part of... Boston during the prior 24 hours. It looked very inviting for a bar. I sat at the bar as it was about 6:30P and I thought thatI might get faster service. A server came fairly quickly but wanted me to scan a QR code for the menu. That is not how I work. The server even tried to do it on her phone without success. She began to read the Happy Hour menu off the computer register. Finally, she went to get a paper menu but only a drink menu. I wanted dinner. I just stuck with the Happy Hour options becauseit had taken so long to get to that point. At least she was friendly. I ordered Sangria, fried dumplings, truffle fries andwings. My drink came immediately. The wings and fries came about ten minutes later. Somewhere the dumplings were forgottenand I had to ask a different server who was able to get them to me. Sangria was good but not special. Truffle fries weretruffle fries. The wings were actually very good. The dumplings were decent and definitely not fried but steamed. Thebackground music was 1980’s. The atmosphere was all right and the tables began to fill up. The crowd was definitely mixedand everyone seemed to be in a good mood for a Tuesday night. All and all, I did not find Tiki Rock special. When the checkcame, an 18% gratuity had already been added BUT a recommended tip was on the check too. I was/am a bit offended since AN 18%gratuity had already been added. I guess that it was just not my night or my type of place??? I could eat there again butwould not go out of my way. Read more

Decided to visit Tiki Rock for the Tiki vibes and drinks. What we found was a beautiful place that does not make true Tiki... drinks. Sorry folks, this was a tourist covered in oil, over sweet, cheap rum drinks. The waitress was very nice and outgoing. Thought I was crazy because I wanted a shot of Plantation OFTD shot to add to my dink. That shot cost me $12 (seereceipt). If you are looking for Caribbean/Cruise ship drinks, this is your place. If you want true Tiki, there are otherplaces in Boston that do Tiki really well. Read more
