I like the ambience, come others, exposed, brick, dim, lighting, no matter where you set your own vicinity of a bar. We sat in... the downstairs area, started with a charcuterie plate, shared a nice bottle of wine, octopus was pretty good with a celery rootpurée, had the steak, and shared their chocolate cake (pie) and peach cobbler Read more

Stopped in for dinner, and lucked into a table for two after a reservation cancelled. It was just ok. The charcuterie was meat... only - cheese comes as a separate item on the menu. Ordered a cocktail and the pork chop special. The pork chop and lentils weregreat, but the broccolini was tough to the point of inedible. The cocktail (East India Company) was nothing to write homeabout. Service was great though. Read more

Three of us dined at Salt for a birthday dinner and were happy that we chose Salt for the occasion. We ate outside and found it... comfortable and still with fast and efficient service. We had appetizers, mains, and dessert and enjoyed every course. The menuis not large but we had no trouble finding appealing dishes. Salt had been recommended to us and it certainly met ourexpectations. Highly recommended. Read more

Ironic name given most of the food lacked precisely in salt. What did it not lack in? Arugula! Order flatbread, get arugula.... Order grilled octopus, get arugula. Order scallops, get arugula. Truly fantastic. The kitchen must be equipped with a timemachine that materializes arugula from the 2013 restaurant fad onto dinners' plates as of they'd asked for it. What can't theirtime machine help with, you ask? Ensure you get seated for dinner after 8:15pm - that seems to be an absolute even theirtechnology cannot overcome. PS. Drinks were good and so was service. Read more

So I'm currently sitting here at Salt in Boulder Colorado, and so far I've started with the bruddle sprouts, octopus and my 12... Oz Ribeye just came along with my Yukon potatoes and my zucchini and yellow squash. To start, I'm a bit of an idiot and didn'teven realize the time when I first walked in. They were closed since it was about 4:15 pm but they were kind enough to share thrdinner menu and the specials menu. From there I saw the steak options and felt like that would be a nice way to celebrate apersonal celebration with a friend. The Sriracha, lime, beet humus and almonds were pleasantly presented and delicious. Thetangyness of the lime fought ferociously with the sweetness of the pickled onion and with perfectly roasted Brussel sprouts asthe referee the match was amazing and delicious. The octopus with curried carrot puree, candied bacon and bok choy were a reallynice combination of flavors and textures. The octopus was cooked perfectly. With great anticipation I finally made it to themain course. A beautifully prepared medium temp 12 ounce rib eye that had drawn me in to begin with. I chose the shallotcabernet butter and just lightly applied anough to make the steak glisten and my God it is exceptional. The pieces have meltedin my mouth. Highly recommend that you do not salt and pepper it yourself because it doesn't need it! The Yukon potatoes arealso delicious and so are the grilled vegetables. This place is cute, warm and inviting. The bar forces conversations sincethere is no tv but that's more my style anyways. Great service, and great food make this a repeated destination for sure! 5stars, and a Bravo Zulu from this soldier!
