This cafe used to be a great place for breakfast. Since the recent change in ownership, the product quality is not the same at... all. Prices have gone up as well. We ordered two omelettes that barely had one egg each. It was about half the size of what itused to be. The french toast that comes with the omelette was about a 2" square. Between two people, we paid about $40, andwaited 25 minutes for two small omelettes and one coffee. We walked away hungry and ready for another breakfast, totally unmet.Basically a total rip off. Dana owned this cafe for over 20 years. The Walnut was one of the best breakfast places in Boulder.All good things seem to have an end. I had breakfast at the Walnut Cafe today because it was the pick up point for my day tour. The outside seating was lovely. My... server Jack was attentive and so helpful when I asked for his food suggestions. He recomended the South Side omlette. I followedhis advise, and I could not be more satisfied. Fresh, flavorful ingredients. The best french toast of my trip as a side wasperfect. Also, get the blueberry cornbread. They also have a full coffee bar. I got the Walnutty Latte (many nut flavors) and itwas so good! 10/10 recommend this place. Read more

We?ve been coming to Walnut Cafe for months every single weekend with our learning pup, Otis, and the staff has always been... accommodating, oh so sweet, and loving to our little hand full! Outside of that, the food is phenomenal, the service is elite,and everyone that dines there as well are friendly, kind, and it?s just all around good vibes. Dana?s skillet was an amazing breakfast. One of the better plates I have had in a long time. Clean place as always and... everyone goes out of their way to make you welcome.
