I literally just called and said, ?I want a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and something spider-man themed.? Then I... picked up this masterpiece! The eyes even light up! My grandmother ordered a cake from here 2 years ago and my boyfriend stilltalks about how good it was to this day. So I asked where she got it and got him his own! We bought $15 worth of donuts and pastries and got mixed results. The yeast donuts were excellent for the kids. The chocolate... croissant was one of the best that we've had. The texture was crisp and flaky with adequate chocolate melted inside. The kouignamann was also good, but maybe not $5 good. The ones at Farmstead in Saint George are the same price but larger and have better,chewy/crispy texture along the bottom. The bad news is that the apple fritter was burnt. The dough was OK, maybe just a littledry, but the apples that poked outside were burnt black and it smelled and tasted distinctly burnt as we cut it up to shareamong our family. I ordered a birthday cake with the decorator a month in advance. I sent her pics of what I wanted and it was pretty simple. She... said, ?No problem!?. When I picked up the cake on Saturday for my daughters birthday I was pretty shocked that it was nothinglike we had talked about. It was so bad that I went home and had to re-decorate the cake I just paid $50 for. The only thingthat was right, was that I asked for purple frosting. Once we got to the cake for the party and started eating it no one couldfinish it. The frosting tasted so much of food coloring and the cake itself was incredibly dry.
