We heard this place was good. Drove 1 hour to try it out and discovered our favorite Indian food in Utah. It helps that the... staff is from India. Also they tend to jog around the place when things get busy, which we enjoyed. Strip mall location mightput you off a bit on the atmosphere scale but it's decorated inside and for me it's all about the way the food tastes. Read more

I live in Montana. It is about seven hours to drive here, but whenever I do drive through Salt Lake, I get off the freeway and... go to what appears from the road to be a hole in the wall. Yet, this is far from the truth. I have lived in major cities andplaces with large Indian communities, but this has my favorite Indian food anywhere. I am a vegetarian, and the options arestaggering and all look so good. The mango lassi is a must. Inside, the atmosphere is charming. I brought a date once who hadnever eaten Indian food, and she loved the atmosphere and was hooked on the food. The service is great, and the prices are veryreasonable ... particularly so considering you are eating extremely well prepared Indian food. I wish they were open Sundays,though ... the last time through Salt Lake was on the day they are closed. Instead of staying the night in the area after along drive, for the simple fact they are closed on Sunday, I drove all the way back home to Montana without stopping for dinner.
