This is typically a local favorite of ours. However, the last few times we have been, the service has been awful. I waited on... hold forever while it sounded like 2 employees finished their personal conversation. Then the lady who took my order kept tryingto repeat it back to me before I even finished speaking. Which resulted in me saying each order 2 or 3 times. It also didn'thelp that the employees talking in the background were so loud. Then they called me back about 10 min later and stated theydidn't have one of the entrees that I ordered. At least they did notify me, but geez. And picking up the order did not go easilyeither. The last few times we have been they have either been out of items, had no staff, the electric was out another time sothey couldn't serve. It is always something. I hate to see a local place struggle, but this has got to be better. Read more
The restaurant smells amazing as soon as you walk in. We were greeted by friendly staff who were more than happy to answer... questions about their extensive menu, which does take a few minutes to read through. Our food was hot and fresh and brought toour table quickly, so it was a great place to stop for a quick lunch break. There was a large offering of to-go condiments, aswell as boxes for taking unfinished food with you. Our only issue was the amount of flies that had managed to make it into therestaurant that we continually had to swat away from our food.
