Been here a few times for slices and ordered full pizzas fresh for home. Have ordered a variety of kinds and toppings. Overall good crust and pizza and good prices. The one thing that has turned me away from them is know matter what pizza you get all you taste is a crazy amount of salt. Has been like that anytime I have gotten some. Must be the crust, cheese, or sauce.
Someone below said the comments were fake. lol... yea, alright. Maybe that person should be working to "Cancel" Al's famous pizza as it is too offensive to normal pizza chains. Been ordering Al's famous for the last 10 years, at least once every couple of months. Only once did we have a poorly made pizza. And we have ordered about 50 times. Pizza is the best in town, good price for the family deal, 2 larges, 3 toppings each, 4 pop, 1lb of wings, 2 dipping sauce for just 46$. Feeds a family of 5, no problem.
Best pizza in town. Arrives hot and fresh every time. Quick delivery time.
I usually always enjoyed there pizza but the one time I order bbq base pizza when I picked it up it was tomato sauce and bbq mixed together which is not what I asked for? very disappointing when I called to ask for a new pizza I got shut down saying that it is right but I?m sorry isn?t the customer always right this was terrible customer service? I will not be ordering from this place again.
Maybe the staff was having a bad day. The level of impatience his tone conveyed made me pause on a purchase for three hungry children. It was as though I was taking them away from an important task to handle a mundane request. I left the establishment because the person at the counter was quite rude. People don't have to patronize businesses and it's people that make businesses financially viable. Don't drive customers away because you're not in a mood to answer questions.
Without question, art is subjective; however, there's simply no arguing against what is on display in the attached photos as anything but culinary art. From the classic design on the box (pizza box art IS art, I don't care!) that evokes memories of pizza parlours past to the literally picture-perfect pie inside (just look at the symmetrical topping placement!), it's obvious that the owners & employees at Al's care about the product they offer. Al's is "that" place: you know, the one you hear about if you're an out-of-towner; the "Mom & Pop"-shop that you boast about to any family/friends who have the misfortune of not living close to. Super-friendly staff, perfectly-seasoned sauce, mild yet flavourful pepperoni, generous (and delicious) cheese distribution that puts the chains to shame and light, fresh dough; this is my family's go-to pizza place and should be yours as well. It's always cooked golden-brown and delivered quickly & free of charge(!). Supporting local is always good; when the pizza is on THIS level, it's a downright no-brainer. Thanks, everyone on Al's Team - see you tomorrow!!!
Worst pizza ever! We just moved to the area, staying at the Comfort Inn down the road. We are starving so wanted fast delivery, Google Maps said ALS Pizza only 1 minute away! Ordered by phone and they said 20 minutes for delivery. We waited 45 minutes before calling back and they said leaving now. Delivery driver arrived in a few minutes and told us they had a second order for the hotel,so he was told to wait and deliver both at once. Our pizza arrived stone cold and almost inedible. We order a ?Canadian? with extra cheese. Our pizza was smothered in cheese but the crust under all that cheese did not cook properly even though the bottom was burnt! Very little pepperoni and cheese on top not cooked properly, tasted like rubber!
Great local pizza joint! The staff is always friendly and they have a great pick up special for a large 1 topping pizza for $11. The ingredients always taste fresh and the pizza is always tasty. I?d also like to mention that there pizza?s are larger then what the local competitors offer... our family always has leftover slices from the large.
