Unfortunately of all the Makimonos I’ve been to, this has got to be the worst. The food all tasted off/weird. And although the... service was friendly enough, and it was quick, the atmosphere was up to Makimono’s standard, it was hard moving past the factthat me and my girlfriend will literally eat anything, we’re not very picky at all and have loved many sushi places both localand upscale so we know what to expect, and this location just does not do the Makimono franchise justice unfortunately. Food was good. Service was okay. The environment was unkept with boxes in multiple locations, it just made it look very untidy,... doesn't help the restaurant is on the smaller side. Prices have went up. Paid $39.99 + tax for all you can eat dinner and theyhad the credit card machine set up with the expectation of an 18% tip. Went for sit-down dinner and the sushi was not very good. The vegetarian sushi had more flavour than my red dragon rolls. The... salmon was not very fresh on top and the rice was old. The staff did not check in on us throughout the night or filled my water.The sakitini were surprisingly good thought! Probably won't go back anytime soon. Totally underwhelming food experience. No comparison to Pickering location sad to say. Food selection on the all you can eat... menu is limited and poor quality. Sushi is tasteless and wet, Miso soup resembles dishwater, steamed dim sum has unidentifiedtaste, dynamite and spicy salmon rolls were soggy inside... I personally would not repeat. Read more
