First timer, and boy is this good or what!! Can’t stress how fresh the salmons are. The sushi rice is cooked just right not... under or over cooked. Definitely will come back for more. Read more
Tasty and fresh sushi. My go to take out place. We usually get a party tray, PT04 or PT02 + a roll. Good value for 2 adults.... Make sure you order in advance because they get really busy during dinner hours. I often forget this but it's always worth thewait. Definitely the best sushi in Bowmanville, possibly in Durham region. Read more
I am sad to say that I have just removed the Five Star review I wrote for Sushiholic when they first opened. I would be... embarrassed if someone read that review now. When it opened I was thrilled that REAL wonderful sushi had arrived in Bowmanville.The fish was very high quality, and the young couple that ran the place were wonderful. The man was so proud of the sushi hemade and bragged about the quality of the fish. Boy..have there been changes. I have been very disappointed with the quality ofmy last two meals. My friend who is a sushi "nut" said that he has noticed the same changes. -the young owners are not there anymore. The new people are sullen. -in my opinion the quality of the fish has deteriorated. I had an order of tuna that was dryand tasteless. -when I opened the pick-up box I could smell fish odour (that is NOT right) -the fresh luxurious taste was notthere -after eating the sushi....I did not feel well. My sushi friend agreed with me about the quality of the fish. -he reportsthat he felt ill after eating his large order. -the menu is now full of all sorts of overly fancy rolls with sauces that hidethe taste of the fish. In my opinion the sushi here is completely different than it was before, and deserving of a mediocrereview at best. no better than any other local place. I will never order from again...nor will my friend, until we see the youngcouple appear again...if they ever do. Read more

We didn’t know that we can order online and waited about 25-30 mins (walk-in) I believe. Foods are very decent in a small... town like this, as we stopping for some food from Markham to Ottawa. I must say even my picky eater kids loves it too.Definitely will come back to get more on our way home. Read more
