I rated 3 stars because my experience was average. The positives are the red lentil soup was delicious and their red... pepper/walnut dip with the lavash chips is tasty. I really enjoyed the homemade chips. I?m really into salad, but somethingabout the salad that comes with the soup was strange. It?s bizarre, the dressing tasted almost fish-like, which was off-puttingfor me. I think the menu said it was a pomegranate dressing. This could just be personal preference, but I think a lemon baseddressing would?ve matched the other flavors better. My husband had a chicken thigh kebab plate. For the price paid, he literallyreceived the tiniest piece of chicken I?ve ever been served in a restaurant. His rice was also crunchy and undercooked.Ultimately we paid around $55 for everything after tip and I feel like we could?ve had a much better quality meal elsewhere forthe same price. Additionally, the staff there seems irritated if you ask any questions about the menu. Overall just average. Read more

A little disappointed in the portion size and quality for the price point. The rice was underdone and borderline crunchy? the... chicken was good but definitely a smaller portion than anticipated. Soup was very good, well done! My biggest gripe is thebaklava? I?m unsure what the syrup was but it was not good at all. The baklava itself left much flavor to be desired and was allaround disappointing. Service took longer than expected, and although the staff was nice it felt like quite the wait fromordering to receiving the food, also in a haphazard manner with different things missing from our dishes. Interestingassortment of beers, that?s for sure. Read more

I love their food, and the service. The owner is so sweet it makes it worth it to go out of the way to order their food. I love... their food, and this restaurant, have I said that yet? Well it is true! My recommendations for food is the Tantooni Bowl. Itend to get extra meat because I love the flavors of this dish I want left overs so after I am full I can have more and itdoesn?t have to end. Happy Lavish?s french fries seasoning is amazing, they make every other restaurant?s ?hand-cut fries? looklike a rip off. Also their baklava is to die for, I might be a bit bias of the baklava because that is my all time favoritedessert, but I have had baklava from many places all over the US and so far theirs is the best. I looked it up on the internetand Turkey ???????? is where baklava originated. I have never been to the country of Turkey, but it is my guess that thisbaklava is the closest you will get to authentic Turkish baklava in the US. If you haven?t guessed already, I highly recommendthis restaurant. I just can?t say it enough, they have some of the best food I have ever had. I have been their multiple timesand I haven?t been disappointed yet. I love their restaurant, food and friendly warm hospitality. Read more
