Went out for Father?s Day and had a good experience here. The food was good and it was great to sit by the water. Really nice... tourist type of place that didn?t seem too heavy on the tourist type of atmosphere because it?s not right on the beach area.Would give it a shot again. Read more
5 stars without a doubt. I don't know where these bad reviews are coming from. My husband and I came here for a lunch date... during our family vacation. Not only were we greeted by a super nice hostess, we ended up with an even better waiter. He wasquick to get our drinks out to us and take our request for an appetizer. We ordered the fried green tomatoes with candied pecansand goat cheese. They were so delicious. I'd even say they were better than the ones I got from The Whistle Stop Cafe in Georgiaearlier that week. So that's saying something! For our entrées, my husband ordered the pineapple sirloin and I ordered the fish& grits. Both were amazing. The portion sizes are so big that neither of us could finish our food entirely. Yes, the prices area tiny bit high, but have you seen the prices at other places nearby? I think the prices are actually pretty fair. Ask to beseated outside if you can. We were able to watch dolphins while eating. My one and only complaint would be how long it took toget our check. Other than that, not a problem. We've been coming to the area for 30 years now. Stopped in for pretty much .....Brunch. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and my friend ordered Fish and Chips. My chicken... sandwich was hot and crispy. The sandwich had decent flavor and the vegetables were fresh. I had a cucumber tomato salad whichwas okay. The tomatoes were a little soft and didn't seem super fresh. My friends fish & chips were good she said. The fish wasflounder and a decent size piece.The coating was nice and crispy. She was happy that it wasn't beer batter. The smoked fish spread is really good for starter, Crab Cake Sandwich was delicious but a bit pricey for be a sandwich with... fries. Overall a good experience, not much delay in service and the food comes out very hot from the kitchen which I loved. Read more

I recently moved to Bradenton and have driven by this place many times on the way to the beach. I decided to stop by Friday... night and check it out. It's a cute Tiki bar with a great ocean view and that's a plus. The waiter was super friendly and ontop of things. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they had a great kick. The meal gets 4 stars. Two ladies next to me ordered atthe same time. They loved their shrimp platter but said the crab cakes "not great." My constructive criticism deals with thelack of fans. I know it's summer and hot. However they only have 4 or 5 small fans (one was broken) hanging way too high tomake a difference. Larger fans would make for a better experience. I urge people to check it out. Read more
