We had our Christmas luncheon today food was great as always
This has been a family favorite for over 50 years. I absolutely love there baccala! I is an amazing cod dinner.
Always passed by and was curious. Today we stopped between 3-4pm. We walked into the musty stale smelling dining room, lights... not on and no air circulation. My fiance ordered the surf and turf dinner salad that comes with fries on the salad, per menu.Came without fries and waitress said it was a "misprint on the menu" instead of admitting a mistake and correcting it. I pulledmenu up online and showed her before she offered to bring fries. My fries and his were not fresh, but crinkle cut frozen. MyFish tasted like it was frozen for a while. Bread was regular sliced Italian like you get from Aldi's, and the Splenda packs onthe table were solid hard rectangles from absorbing the moisture that made the air musty. There were water marks in the ceilingtiles from leaks. I understand places having difficulty after shutdowns, but seems they just don't care. fast food is fresherwith better quality. We were in town looking for that unusual spot to stop, that "hole in the wall" stop that you'll remember and always go back... to... while this didn't turn out to be that place for us, it was a quaint little place and isn't unfair in what it looks like itoffers - cheap food that is a grade above fast food but not like dining in a 5-star restaurant. The staff was super friendly andhelpful, and the dining area was old but clean. Read more
