Must try! We drive up north from the cities often and always hit a restaurant on the main drag of 371 but decided to check out... "old 371" DT places to eat and so glad we did. The menu is diverse and bursting with flavor. We ordered the pork belly burger, chicken wild rice soup, Thai peanut wrap, red curry dish, and chicken strip kids meal with sweet potato fries & applesauce. ALLwas delicious. See photos. Definitely taking the time to go slightly out of our way to eat from this scrumptious menu. Servicewas excellent too. Ambience was relaxed and eclectic. Read more

Sage was great! We had an appetizer, 2 dinner entrees, and a dessert and all of it was delicious! We got the fried popcorn... lobster for an appetizer and it was a perfect appetizer, not fishy and very tender. The chicken pesto tortellini was good butthe Thai peanut stir fry was very good. The turtle cheesecake was made in house and was very delicious! Overall we had awonderful experience at Sage and would definitely recommend dining here. Read more

I came in today and the hostess was amazing. I was seated and given water and about 5 minutes later the waiter approached as... soon as I received a phone call from my vet regarding my dog who was having surgery. I politely asked him water if he could comeback that I needed to take this. The waiter returned, I apologized and explain the situation. I ordered the Spring Roll saladand a diet mountain dew. My drink never came. My salad came and I took a bite and bit into a fatty hard piece of chicken. Noworries set that piece aside. Then I took a another bite and the skin was still on the chicken. Not crispy skin but slimy. Atthis point I investigated further and there was more hard fatty pieces and skin on the chicken. I admit I am fussy about mychicken and at this point I couldn't eat anymore. I told the manager who sent the waiter back over who asked what I wanted todo. I said I can't eat that. He came back with the bill saying they had taken the chicken off. I asked him why would I pay forsomething I didn't eat. I had a full plate with two bites missing. To which he replied, "you just want to eat for free?". I wasappalled I hadn't ate more than two bites. I told him j just wanted to leave please run my card. I asked to speak to the managerbefore leaving. She attempted to figure out what was going on and I thank her for that. At this point I was just too upset thelast straw to say on a stressful day and didn't want to cry in front of the entire restaurant. I have food from here in the pastwith no complaints. Read more

WOW! Just wow!!! I?m from Minnesota but moved away years ago. I LOVE Minnesota but whenever I come back I?m always reminded that... too few restaurants serve anything more than some variation of meat and potatoes. Oh my goodness - this menu AND the food areoutstanding!! We split a couple of dishes - the Dragon Bowl with smoked salmon - beyond delicious! The BLT bruschetta - veryVERY good. The Wild Rice Soup was unusually good (although not ?quite? as good as my personal recipe - they need to add chickensoup base to the broth, tone down the herb ?just a smidge?, and add a small amount of Sherry at the end of cooking). We are nowliving in Lake Country for 5 months of the year and this will certainly become one of our favorite new restaurants - and becauseit?s just down the road from the YMCA - it?s a great place to come after a workout. Well done Sage!!! Too few restaurants do itwell. Read more

I?ve visited on two separate occasions for out of town work. Top notch ingredients, and creative menu. The food tastes like the... chef puts their soul into the cooking. I will definitely be back to try more dishes! Read more
