Today on 2 July 2022 we four of us vdited Nilgiris restaurant at Brampton, Canada for lunch. Table was available when we... visited, it opens around 12 pm . I opted for Thyre vada or curd vada n south Indian thali, My son opted for khali dosa, hisfriend ordered for idli vada sambhar, my daughter in-law ordered for rava paneer dosa, As I am fond of curd vada, whicheverrestaurant we go I look for it but unfortunately had bitter experience with this item except the only one perfect restaurant forCurd vada is Mysore Darshini. A big bowl of curd vada was served but to my surprise it was too tangy with tamarind juice addedon top of it. There was nothing but 2 whole vada cut into 4 halve dipped in curd n tamarind juice . It was disappointing. Istrongly advise them to hire a south Indian chef. Most of Indian restaurants don't know how to make curd vada..they think wholevada dipped in curd n pouring lot of tamarind juice makes it ???????? They all should hop into Mysore Darshini taste it n learnit. Then came my south Indian meals thali with rice papd, fried curd chilly, sambhar, samia,sagoo payasam with vanilla flavour,curd, n one sabji all served in small cups, the taste was OK , brinjal curry was again too tango. The khli dosa was too good myson said, Rava dosa was too good I tasted a little, my sons friend said idli, sambhar n puri sagu was also good. In fact it waschana natura n not puri sagu of south India. My plate meals came with one idli, one hot vada one masala dosa n rice plate withall items I mentioned just for 12$ CAD. I couldn't eat curd vada after two spoons asked for some sugar , I just packed it. Onthe whole a good place to visit.. Book your before going. You can also order online n collect your item. Read more
Decent place to have south indian food. Ambiance and other service is below standards. We ordered gobhi manchurian it was over... spicy but taste was really good. Moreover, we got paneer masala and pav bhaji Dosas. Quantity was nice but taste was average.Pav bhaji dosa was not good at all. Customer service was nice. Well well well. I went there just because one of my female friends suggested this place. She mentioned some of the must-try... items here. First of all I was disappointed with the staff and management. They refused to combine 2 tables as their tables werefor 4 persons and we were 5. The manager/owner said sorry it's not possible. When I asked the lady what's your best selling itemshe replied everything is good you can try anything ????. We ordered 5 different dosas , 2 plate masala vadas and rasam. Masalawada by the way was their must-try item and they served it cold(It seemed stale to me). Sambhar was also less in quantity. Allchutneys were ok. Quality and quantity was not according to the Price. It seems overpriced and an overrated place to me as Ihave already tried better places with the same prices. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. Though I liked thedosa which I ordered but no one else liked their ones. So overall we liked one dosa out of six orders. Read more
Delicious and Authentic South Indian Food . Staff is so friendly and fresh food. All chutney was freshed and tasty. Would... recommend to order Idli chilli and Mysore Masala Dosa . The only thing is they should increase quantity of Sambhar. Otherwiseit's The Best Read more

One of the best place for the vegetarian food. All the foods that we ordered was delicious and we tried different types of dosas... and all of them were delicious and perfect. I tried the veg biriyani and it tasted good. Highly recommend place for the vegilovers and dosa lovers.. good customer service. Neat place? Read more
