Before their renovation I used to go there about once a week for a small greek salad at less than $8. Since then they've jumped... to $11.85 and the portion size was cut back. Sadly, I no longer go. Read more

Place was absolutely amazing. Good was fresh, hot, and delicious. I had the Italian chicken pam and my bf had the Greek chicken... Alfredo. We have been here once before and food was great. Little hidden location and doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that deter you. Also Owen was the BEST waiter! Read more

The Risotto is hard is crunchy on the outside But the inside is mush. It's an OK flavored mush but not the kind of thing I want... to eat. My husband had the chicken Alfredo it was fairly disappointing not very much Flavor to it and The noodles were a bittoo mushy. My husband ended up using all of the green bits from the risotto and tossing most of it in his dish to bring moreflavor to it. I had the Italian Parma it was good for the most part. There were some chewy bits in the chicken that I didn'treally care for but most of it was OK. The noodles were on the verge of being overdone but not quite. The place was quite Verypeaceful. Was not feeling the best that night after the food. Read more

Having gone to Romano's Restaurant for many years before it closed for remodeling and other things, we were a little anxious... about our first revisit since their reopening. I am happy to say that Romano's is better than ever. Every item we ordered wasoutstanding. Romano's has a half and half menu which allows you to get smaller portions of an appetizer or starter coupled witha smaller portion of one of their entrees for a fixed price. We tried the hummus which was exceptional, the spanakopita whichwas as good as ever, and their Greek salad which is unchanged from before, also tremendous. Our entrees were the chicken alfredowhich was one of the better Alfredo's we've had, and something called lobster couscous which was amazing. The lobster was notrubbery or hard, it was tender and it's flavor was throughout the entire dish. The kernels of corn in the dish were crisp, notovercooked, and definitely fresh. We needed doggie bags but wanted to try their honey cake which is about 10 layers of a verythin cake interspersed with layers of a cream filling--really outstanding. We actually asked if they sold the cakes whole (theydo, as a special order). The prices are a bit higher than before, but the food is well worth the trip. We will be back often. Read more

Last night was my first time trying greek food here in Tampa. Overall what I ordered from Romano was simply average tasting yet... an edible meal. The food was nothing spectacular that I would brag to friends and family about. I ordered the duck wings whichwas good but I wish they had listed that they top the meat with peanuts (which I personally didn't care for. Thankfully, Im notallergic). Then I had the chicken parmesean. The chicken was wayyyy too breaded and one piece of the chicken was burnt (seepic). I also ordered a greek salad which seemed to have what looked like potato salad at the bottom ???? (see pic), and if ulike chunky cucumbers and tomato in your salad then u might enjoy their greek. Personally the food here is not the type ofgreek food Im use to,but Im glad I tried it. Thankfully, it was edible and digestible as Im prego and have been hesitant eatingout. Read more
