Alot of familiar faces from town. Great breakfast place with best service. Occasional visitor to Denny?s. The place strikes me... with their extra friendly and fast service. Ive worked in the service industry for around 10 years and understand when new restaurants open they will have some kinks to... work out. I read the reviews before visiting Denny's Brantford and was appalled by how entitled some guests can be. Dennys isexactly what it's meant to be and the staff here in my few visits so far have been wonderfully accommodating, friendly andknowledgeable. My regular server Tara is lovely everytime I visit and the rest of the staff is just as well! The food is exactlywhat you would expect from a chain diner and anyone who visits here expecting a fancy 5 star meal is just out to lunch (no punintended). The prices are reasonable especially considering the inflated cost of food in the world right now and at the end ofthe day the staff here do not control pricing or portions. Went here for a free birthday grand slam as advertised. There was no wait time to get a table and the place was clean inside.... Advised the server it was my birthday and she wrote it down on her paper and took our orders. I immediately see there was a hairon my bacon but I didn?t want to make a scene and just put it in a napkin. Portion was decent sized for a grand slam but thesausages were super small and tasted like some sort of cleaner. I left those in the napkin as well, considering it was a freemeal. The eggs and hash browns tasted fine. We get the bill and paid, and upon double checking (which was my fault for notmaking sure it was correct). I noticed my meal was not free and was charged full price. Our server did not come around our tableafter we paid so we went to the front desk to inquire about what they can do for the mix up. The manager basically said it wasmy fault and they don?t do refunds. I asked for a gift certificate or something but he insisted there was nothing they could do.Highly recommend going elsewhere as this restaurant is overpriced and needs a lot of work. Read more

Wasn't the best experience, they messed up our whole order. First off they should have told us what they had and didn't have... before seating us (they had no ham and few other items) didn't tell us until we ordered. Also had one cook apparently also couldhave Said before seating us that there may be slow time or a wait due too this. Brought our appetizer after our meal, no toastor sausage until i mentioned it, bo bacon on our bacon amd cheese tatters, could tell one meal sat a bit before it cane outdried holinday sauce. But on the other hand the food was good, great portions and the place was very clean. I don't like to givea bad review unless it's really bad so for now my review is medium as maybe it was just the day or circumstances of the day.After all the issue the manager gave us our meals on the house and we are greatful for that but a bit Kaos and dissorganizationgoing today for sure.
