Tried this place from a recommendation for the first time today. i ordered the Haddock special and an order of mushy peas. ill... give them points for using fresh cut fries but then take away those points for not knowing how to cook them properly, in otherwords they were under cooked,. The fish was thin which would have been fine if it hadn't been over cooked into fish jerky. andlastly the mushy peas, something that should be easy to make, but no they messed that up as well by putting a pool of olive oilon top as if it was a hummus dip. so that will be my first and last visit. Fish taco with raw onions?? I enjoy fish tacos however Halibut House has it all wrong! A better choice would be Joeys Fish and... Chips. I also ordered fish and chips for my wife, fries were under cooked. Perhaps breakfast would be a better choice at thislocation, hard to screw up bacon and eggs. Read more
